Eaton Turnkey Solutions in Arizona

 

In 2014, Eaton provided a complete turnkey solution for the design, construction and installation of a fully functional 5kv arc resistant switchgear lineup at an aging combined-cycle power plant in Arizona. 

 

As a turnkey contractor, Eaton was responsible for all site construction including vacuum excavation, conduit and foundation installation as well as breaker manufacturing, installation and start up. 

 

The 5kv switchgear lineup was manufactured at the Eaton Greenwood, SC facility and delivered to the plant in two sections. These two sections were assembled on site and tested to verify customer acceptance.
