​Originally from St. Louis, MO, Adam attended Arizona State University on a full-ride scholarship where he earned his BS in Electrical Engineering. Before joining the Gorman team, Adam worked for Arizona Public Service rotating through their New Engineers in Operation/Generation program, and served as a key team member of the APS Power System Support Engineering Team. Adam has a broad understanding of Relays, Protection, Controls, Batteries, Breakers, and Motor Controls.

While earning his BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso, he worked as a draftsman at a top ranked structural engineering firm. Post graduation, Joe worked for a decade at El Paso Electric; 8 years as a Distribution Engineer, and 2 years as a Construction Scheduler where he manages scheduling for more than 30 crews.
