A utility in Southern Nevada is changing out aging wood H-Frame structures on an aging 138kv line, with McWane ductile iron and PUPI fiberglass arms and braces.

 

McWane ductile iron provides the customer with a higher strength pole that is corrosion resistant at a more competitive cost than other engineered solutions such as steel or concrete.

 

The PUPI fiberglass arms and braces are a perfect match as they also provide a high strength engineered solution that is light weight and easy to install.
